Some say you can’t find love at a Southie house party, we’re happy to prove them wrong.

On June 11, 2023, Lauren’s friends invited her to a house party on East 5th Street, where she met Conor for the very first time. They exchanged a few words, but neither of them knew that just a few weeks later, their story was really about to begin.

Over Fourth of July weekend, Lauren’s friend Meg was invited to Conor’s family’s Cape house in Eastham through a mutual friend. What Lauren didn’t know at the time was that while Meg was getting the invite, Conor had one condition: if Meg was coming, she had to bring Lauren. Safe to say, Conor had a plan.

That weekend, Lauren and Conor hit it off immediately. Between dancing together at the Beachcomber, taking walks on the beach, playing Can Jam, and burying Meg in the sand at Boat Beach, they spent the weekend laughing and getting to know each other.

It was also the weekend Lauren met Conor’s entire family, including his legendary grandparents, joined the Lewis family’s annual Tern Lane Fourth of July traditions, and experienced the special blend of fun, tradition, and togetherness that comes with the Lewis compound on Tern Lane. Not many people can say they met an entire extended family before going on a first date, but Lauren checked that box early.

A week later, they finally had their official first date at Fat Baby Sushi. One date quickly turned into countless nights at Telegraph Hill, ordering Alfredo’s and heading down to Carson Beach, weekend adventures, and finding every excuse to spend more time together.

Before they knew it, those casual beginnings had grown into ski trips, Cape summers, wine nights with Hailey, golf dates, meeting each other’s families- officially this time- and quiet nights at home. A few years later came their first apartment together on East Third Street in Southie. Soon after, they began working together and adopted their puppy, Junie, into the family in April 2026.

What started at a Southie house party has grown into a life we love, sharing a home, adopting Junie, and making memories together.

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you this June on the Cape, a place that’s been part of our story from the very beginning.
